General instructions

• Picnic and playground area with kiosk: In the museum there is a big picnic and playground area with a kiosk.
• Notice for dog owner: Dogs are welcome in our museum but must however be stained at the leash.
• Photos in the museum: Certainly you can take pictures in our museum for your personal use. For the commercial use like postcards, publications etc. you need an authorisation from the museum’s administration.
• No smoking: In our whole museum smoking is forbidden because of the fire protection. If you want to smoke, you can go into the museum’s restaurant or near the kiosk.

Information for handicapped people

Wheelchair visitors
Visitors who are in a wheelchair can get to the museum through the entrance without any problems. Many farmsteads are built at street level or are accessible through slopes.

Parking facilities
You can easily pull in your car on the car park in front of the museum.

Toilet
Accessible toilet for people in a wheelchair are located in the entrance building.

The museum shop

Handiworks from regional craftsmen and artisans, a large range of literature, postcards, gifts and stylish souvenirs are on purchasee in the museum’s shop. 
Opening hours:
During the whole season every day from 11.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Children’s and baggage carts

For a more enjoyable visit with children you can rent one of our carts. Fee: 2,50 €.
