There’s always something going on at the Open Air Museum Vogtsbauernhof.

There is no end of activities throughout the season to guarantee an unforgettable visit to the museum.

Daily events

  • Craftsmen demonstrations daily
    Witness every day traditional crafts.
  • Mill demonstration
    Daily at 11.15, 12.15 and 2.15pm
  • Free guided tours for the public (in German)
    Daily at 2.30pm
  • Demonstration of Black Forest cooking
    Daily from 11am – 2.00pm, from May till September.

Regular events

  • Country women’s day
    Enjoy regional specialities prepared by local women. A real treat!
    Every first Saturday in the month from 11am till 5pm.
  • Museum workshop for families 
    Here, under expert guidance, you can make various different pieces and objects, from key hooks to lanterns and hardwood baskets – the variety is enormous!
    Daily except Saturdays and Mondays.
